Andy Foster, COO and Director of Coaching, CIO Development

Andy Foster is an executive coach and facilitator who has specialised in developing senior executives and their teams throughout an extremely varied career. During a first career in the British Army he specialised in “Chief of Staff” and training delivery roles. On leaving the military, he spent a surreal year as PA to then Formula One team owner Sir Jackie Stewart before returning to reality as a management consultant working directly with global heads of IT in various investment banks.
 
This understanding of the senior IT executive’s world was combined with his expertise in leadership training when he became Operations Director of The IMPACT Programme, where he designed and delivered facilitated action-learning activities to FTSE CIOs and their lead teams. His unique skill is in creating and running programmes tailored to the personal and professional development of senior IT executives – and his passion is for helping individuals fulfill their potential. Andy is fluent in French and Spanish, has an MBA from Melbourne and Cranfield Business Schools and is an IhD accredited executive coach.
