Gideon Nissen, Independent Consultant

 

Gideon Nissen is a leading expert on business process change and the use and successful implementation of IT, particularly in the insurance industry. He is a successful management consultant of some 25 years standing  including being a partner / vice- president at E&Y / CGEY and an associate partner at Accenture. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and has worked with the leading organisations in the insurance marketplace, including AXA, Liverpool Victoria, Prudential, Zurich, AMP, Marsh, Willis, Skandia, Forenede, Aviva, Legal & General and Royal & SunAlliance. He also has public sector experience, principally with The Post Office.

His key skills include:
  • a proven ability to develop IT strategy in the insurance market, supported by deep knowledge of the systems and process architectures which underpin the insurance industry.
  • a first-class track record of directing programmes, on time and to budget
  • an ability to diagnose rapidly the root cause of a problem in a project or a business process, and design and win support for a solution at Executive level
  • outstanding communication and presentation skills, proven at board level.
