Tim Brister, Independent Consultant

Tim Brister is an interim programme management specialist. He has a 15 year plus proven track record of delivering large, complex, £ multi-million business critical programmes. The programmes have all been within the Financial Services industry and have included matrix management of cross-functional teams across worldwide locations.

Key achievements to date include:

• management from programme definition through to implementation and migration of the modernisation of the Swiss Stock Exchange Trading Platform. Over a 2 and a half year period with a budget of CHF 70 million and a team peaking at 100+ the programme successfully delivered the high quality, low latency, stable solution demanded by all stakeholders, both internal and external

• programme management of the CHF 36.5 million, 95 man-year Quotematch change programme for the Swiss Stock Exchange, having been recruited against a backdrop of slipping dates and ill-defined budgets. The programme delivered on time and significantly under budget

• managing a change programme at Barclays that resulted in operational savings and improved sales performance

• managing a business critical programme of risk reduction initiatives at Barclays under close scrutiny by the FSA

• delivering a programme for AXA Insurance to meet fixed regulatory requirements within a pre-defined timescale.
